Great Scotland Yard Hotel

HBA Dubai

Interested to stay in a historic building that holds more hidden stories than any other place in London? Just off Whitehall and only 2 minutes away from Trafalgar Square you’ll find the new Great Scotland Yard Hotel. For over a century the building served as the headquarters for the London Metropolitan Police force, the British Army Recruitment Office, the Royal Military Police headquarters and till 2013 as the office for the Ministry of Defense. Dubai based design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) got appointed to transform the building into the 6th luxurious Hyatt Unbound Collection hotel. In December 2019 the Great Scotland Yard Hotel opened its doors.

In collaboration with HBA our inhouse design team developed bespoke rugs and carpets for the lobby, all guestrooms, suites, corridors, lift lobbies, the Apartment, meeting rooms, the restaurants and the unique No1 Great Scotland Yard Townhouse.
