Vondelpark Amsterdam

In collaboration with interior designer Maaike van Diemen, ICE created handmade rugs for several rooms in a gorgeous villa, situated along the famous Vondelpark in Amsterdam.

On the edge of Amsterdam Vondelpark, situated in a quiet and elegant neighbourhood, stands a spacious villa with high ceilings and large windows that fill the rooms with natural light. For each of its rooms, we created different designs that work together beautifully. The dark lines in the designs create a striking contrast with the bright white ceilings, panels, and window frames, and earthy tones of the walls and furniture. To establish the right look and feel, we used 100% New Zealand wool, known for its extraordinary beauty, colour depth, and clarity when dyed, while also offering sustainability and longevity.
